It was at my ranch. I was shearing sheep under the blazing noonday sun, and she came cantering over on that pretty little filly she used to ride and held out one impossibly small hand and offered to help. I couldn't imagine that anyone with such perfectly manicured fingers knew the first thing about sheep shearing, and yet she made such light work of the task that I was nothing short of astonished. She smiled coyly at me over one shoulder as she remounted her horse and set off towards home to "freshen up," promising to come back before dark.
